recovered and two are inside of the wreckage. ntsb is coming down flying down from seattle to carry on the investigation to determine why the plane crashed. sheriff deputies did a grim search searching for bodies trapped in the airplane that slammed into the lagoon. the plane had just taken off from san carlos airport but there was a mechanical problem. it began spiralling right and then headed down. frightening experience for people that work in the building. mark la rosa was on the top floor of the building. >> no sooner did we look out of the window there is a plane that is heading into the water. it was actually the force from the crash, we felt knit the building. and thought he hit the building. he hit really hard. >> i ran inside briefly.

i wasn't sure if it was going to hit water or land. i came out it and was looking at water plane was sinking. >> and we sent two of swimmers in the water when arriving there, they're assisted by citizens out there with kayaks and to help search the area one victim was pulled from the area next to the plane and pulled to shore. a 0-year-old woman who was deceased. >> we've learned she may be the girlfriend of the co-pilot. a friend of the owner did stop by. >> i don't know who was inside. but the owner owned gorman's steel. he was a b 17 pilot during the war. he was quite confident. >> reporter: he was a world war ii pilot decorated fighter pilot and he was 9 years old, not flying that much anymore. he may have been on board. we learned that the plane was headed south for a check for

unsettling to see. sons and daughters ordered to walk backwards police then padded them down one at a time for guns. some students used cell phones to call parents or text them. and to ask what is going on outside. the police did a search for suspects and guns. and however, officers did check trash cans in a bus shelter just in case a gun had been dumped there. no gun was found. the students were locked down just over three hours. they were released and anxious to tell their story and to tell their stories. >> we knew it's going to be a lock down. >> so where you worried?. >> yes. very nervous. and concerned. i i think they got it under control. >> your daughter has been texting you. what has she been say something. >> she's okay.

everything is under control. >> students and parents said the high school has a strict conduct code and no guns were allowed on campus one parent was concerned about her daughter, who is eight months pregnant. we're reporting here everybody came out safely. again no gun was found. at bridge point high school abc 7 news. >> also scaring parents and kids. and in the east bay police sorting through details of a killing spree. four people murdered and the suspect shot dead by pleets after a chase. we want to turn now to abc 7 live in hercules tonight where one victim lived. >> reporter: this is a sign of how complicated this case is for authorities. police this evening are still trying to figure out the time line of events who. was killed? when? and why?

one person is still missing. the 35-year-old was reported missing on saturday. the police told me today that he was actually last seen thursday, a week ago today and now, police are losing hope he's still alive. there is news of the death are still sinking in, and flowers piling up. she's one of four victims in a killing spree stretching across the east bay. possibly only to her boyfriend's jealous rage. police say he believed tran was having a romantic relationship with one of the two men who rented rooms in her hercules home he was in there. just cowered over her as she worked. they told me they didn't like him. i said i can see why. he's -- just it's unbelievable. >> authorities believe she abducted tran and strangled her husband tus as he drove

womens' dead bodies but who the role may be in murders remains a mystery. >> i can tell you we do not know motives he had in regards to the homicide. >> and autopsies were expected to be performed today on both of the bodies of the women found in the home. and there is a confusion that will not be made public for a couple weeks. police say another woman was found outside in the backyard and both bodies were badly decomposed. >> and there is a plis trying to figure out how charles ritenhouse got rid of chemicals and explosives insueding some radio active materials. investigators found boxes of the items stored in his home and in a storage unit. he told authorities the items came from his job. investigators say they checked
